3v3 Tournament
This single-day tournament is fast-paced, full of fun, and modeled after the competitive small-sided style of play. Teams of 4-6 players are invited to compete and each will be guaranteed three to five games. All players will receive a custom tournament pinnie, along with the chance to be crowned champs, both team and players rewards!
Why 3v3? The format of this tournament gives players the opportunity to improve and compete in a rapid-fire environment that will allow every player a high number of touches and quick decision making.
Equipment Options Similar to PLL Academy 3v3 with more competitive options. See details tabs below for how players with and without full gear will be handled in scenarios where both teams may have players that are not fully equipped with full pads and helmets/eye protection.

- The only equipment that is required is a stick / mouthguard and athletic protector.
- At the field both teams will conduct an equipment check and if all players are fully equipped, they may compete in full gear (helmet, pads, gloves) with standard NOCSAE approved hard balls.

TOURNAMENT RULES / FORMAT:

- Teams will play games on smaller 4×4 goals or reduced goal area.

- There are no timeouts
- Overtime: There will be one 3-minute overtime period allowed if the score is tied at the end of the game. If tied at the end of the overtime period, the game will be recorded as a Tie. All seeding ties will be broken in this order:

**Forfeits are marked as 5-0 losses/Two-way ties will be decided by Head-to-Head**
START OF THE GAME OR PERIOD
- A face-off at center field will start the game and each period.
RESTART AFTER A GOAL IS SCORED
- After a goal, play is continuous where the defensive team will be awarded the ball to clear from the crease area.

The last team to touch the ball will lose possession of the ball and play will be restarted closest to the location the ball went out of bound and commence play on the whistle.
